SHHHNACKS‼‼ Anyone that knows me, knows my life revolves around snacks and I'm going to be sharing a few here to help keep you on track 💪 Shnack number 1️⃣ yoghurt bowls. Depending on what yoghurt you pick, they are a great source of protein which can be low in carbohydrates and fat. Theres loads of great options so be sure to have a gawk at the label first (picture 2). **warning, the natural yoghurts are in need of some honey/cinnamon in my opinion🤏 This allows you to dress it up whatever way suits you/your goals and makes your shnacks or meals more filling 🧐🧐 Once you've read the label and selected the appropriate yogurt, you've got your source of protein and then it's time to make your creation bad and boujee with your toppings. Personally, I tend to go for some chia seeds, honey, cinnamon, nutty granola, frozen berries and pineapple (heated up in the microwave) and dark chocolate. This gives me some great sources of extra carbohydrates and fats. You can adjust the toppings like losing the chocolate/ less granola if your goal is weight loss to make it a great low calorie snack. If your goal is weight gain, you can go cray and even throw some nut butter on there 🥜🥜 For most of my meals, I find I like to stick to something I like and that is a good source of nutrients (the 0% fat greek yoghurt in this case), then add some variety to it each time till I find what I like to prevent 'healthy eating' from becoming boring and just ordering a chipper 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Give her a go. #snacks #nutrition #personaltrainer #weightloss #lowcaloriemeals #dairy #vegetarian #weightgain #macros #highprotein #carbs #yoghurt

I know it’s the thing these days to go full-metal Monet on your focaccia, but yesterday, I just wanted one that was soft, comforting, plain, olive-oil-infused and sea-salt-adorned. This is based on the recipe from @rivercottagehq - with a few tweaks: - I the added a soup spoon amount of sourdough starter - I also increased the hydration - using 350g of water to 500g flour. - I also changed the fermentation. I kneaded one the mixer for 5 minutes, then folded the dough twice at 30 min intervals during its 90-minute rise. “I might as well just eat everything now, because my diet starts tomorrow...”⁣ 😖 ⁣ I get that you’re scared of restricting yourself with a diet to reach your dream body, but this thinking is what is going to make you fail.⁣ ⁣ I get that you’re scared that you’ll have to give up all your favourite foods, but by stuffing your face the day before your diet starts, you’re making your job so much harder!⁣ ⁣ Plus, this kind of “all or nothing” thinking is what’s going to make you binge on shit you don’t even like after the second week of your restrictive “diet”.⁣ ⁣ So, before you commit 100% to a crash diet that will leave you feeling like absolute crap and binge the night before, I ask you to STOP and think.⁣ ⁣ What are the ways that you can go about reaching your goal that are actually sustainable without having to go on a diet?⁣ ⁣ Can you simply decrease your portion sizes?⁣ Can you go on an extra 30 minute walk a day?⁣ Can you switch from drinking regular soda to zero kcal?⁣ Can you do an online zumba class instead of going on a run that you hate?⁣ Can you put your phone away while you eat and focus on your fullness levels?⁣ ⁣ Instead of trying to change your life radically over night by doing something that will leave you feeling like crap, look for ways you can improve your everyday habits.⁣ ⁣ Instead of looking at reaching your goals as a scary and close to impossible task, look at it as an exciting journey that you’ll learn from.⁣ ⁣ Instead of giving up everything you love for your dream body, keep eating what you’re eating, add some veggies, drink more water and lower the portion sizes.⁣ ⁣ It’s as simple as that!⁣ ⁣ I admit, you won’t see insane changes in a week, but you’ll get results that last forever if you keep at it without having to feel crap and having cravings all the time.⁣ ⁣ Have you dieted before? Ieri abbiamo visto le proprietà nutrizionali delle uova e come leggere l’etichetta in modo da fare un acquisto consapevole. Oggi la nostra @laurazangari_nutrizionista di @infood.point vi propone una ricetta semplice per gustarle al meglio sfruttando una cottura sana. Crostone di pane con uova in camicia e salsa alle zucchine e menta 😋👇 ✔️uova ✔️pane (il nostro era fatto in casa con farina integrale) ✔️zucchine ✔️menta fresca ✔️rucola ✔️sale e aceto di mele qb Per la salsa tritare le zucchine a julienne e farle saltare con un filo d’olio e una volta cotte passarle al mixer insieme alla menta e a un pizzico di sale. Tostare il pane per renderlo croccante. Per l’uovo in camicia romperlo all’interno di un mestolo e aggiungere una punta di aceto di mele e nel frattempo portare dell’acqua ad ebollizione in una pentola ampia. Non appena l’acqua inizia a bollire (ma non troppo) formare un vortice molto forte con delle fruste e inserire all’interno del vortice il mestolo con l’uovo e tenerlo fermo per 3 minuti precisi. Assemblare il crostone con la salsa sotto, la rucola e l’uovo in camicia sopra.
