🍥🍣 Sushis & makis party night ! Prendre le temps de préparer son riz, découper finement ses légumes, enrouler le tout soigneusement dans les feuilles de Nori 🤤 et voilà le résultat ! A simple beet hummus with tahini, lime juice, garlic, pink salt and a dash of cayenne, served with flax crackers. Did not write down the cracker recipe, but approximately: soak 1/4 cup golden flax in a cup of cabbage/celery juice for several hours (or overnight), add 2 T golden flax meal, 2 T soaked chia, 1/4 cup green onions, 1/4 cup chopped colored bell peppers, 1 tsp turmeric, 1/4 tsp black pepper, dash cayenne, 1 tsp garlic flakes, 1 tsp dried oregano, 2 T lime juice. In food processor, grind a cup almonds (soaked overnight, which increases volume to about two cups), add the flax mixture and blend until combined. Will be thick and spreadable for dehydration. When making flax crackers, I always like to soak the flax in vegetable juice, as it gives more flavor and color than soaking in water. Purple cabbage makes dramatic purple crackers, carrot juice is nice too. I include proportions here more as a guideline - crackers are adaptable, and I often use sunflower seeds instead of almonds. Walnuts make a nice base, too. There are plenty of recipes online.
