Pure nostalgia rewatching this game with my pops tonight on @espn. First year i played contact football was 2001. 2nd year was 2002 & I was 10 years old; it was the first Buckeye season I watched every single game kick off to last play & was totally invested in. My earliest memories of @ohiostatefb were the 97/98 OSU/UM & one of them we won (think it was 98’ the Bucks won but man were we total underdogs). Cheers to #JimTressel for changing the course of history. Shout out to @theticket123 for the autographed @columbusdispatch joint. #TheeOhioState #Buckeyes #OhioState #SweaterVest #InTressWeTrust #OHIO #Champions #NationalChampions

Where does America go from here? We avoided possibly WWIII for four years by electing @realdonaldtrump and not HRC/Soros/Sotero. Now we face an election of uncertainty beyond anything we've faced in my generation, with more at stake then one can possibly fathom. What man will say what's not right anymore? . . . . . . I'll be praying for all of you in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Minnesota and elsewhere. My goal is to bring the information as time allows me, as I live in the countryside. Thanks for the feedback, comments, likes and links. It's greatly appreciated. 🇺🇸 . . . #anchorage #alaska #martiallaw #wwg1wga #oregon #california #coronavirus #covid19 #honolulu #liwenliang #hawaii #florida #pandemic #newyorkcity #portland #orlando #seattle #life #ohio #chicago #washington #newyork #sacramento #qanon #snohomish #texas #truth #Yahweh #minnesota #love

#tbt🔙📸 I almost forgot... as I've been sharing every Thursday, here's a glimpse into my pre-Dallas life. December 27, 2006 I packed up and moved from Columbus, OH to DFW but not before having (3) going away parties. Yes, three! One for business associates, one with family and then the finale, that was the par-tay. Said evidence: me dropping it low. I miss home soooo much because my life was amazing there but God had other plans. #d1legacy #akilahslegacy #Columbus #Ohio #Midwestgirl #honorHER

So happy my best friend is back in town visiting! Nothing is better than a fun night out with friends🖤

When you see this photograph it’s Mooneen’s Tip of the Day. (I don’t edit not sorry). CATCH PHRASE. Have some agreed upon language ready when dealing with repetitive issues (training kids, spouse, friends, workers others... get a catchy succinct phrase you can use, and teach them to use all the time. Build a vocabulary talk about it a lot well ahead of time. I.E. A child teases her brother. Teach the brother to say”sorry to tell you that you’re simply wrong.” “This is my personal space”. Temper tantrum, smart aleck, bullying? Say “ do you think that’s going to get you what you want??” Beginning to argue? Say: “don’t make this bigger than it needs to be”. When you’re starting to get really mad say “I’m starting to see red” or “red purse” or any code phrase so the other knows you’re close to exploding... So my tip for today is: create some purposeful CATCH PHRASE and CODE WORDS that you can use to stay calm, deescalate, and DISENGAGE (teach the kids what those words means). What’s your favorite catch phrase?. #staysafe #shelterinplace2020 #peaceful #angelswatchovermeyouwe #montecito #ridleytreemuseumofart #santabarbaramuseumofart #series #edwardshospital #clayspace #illinois #ohio #rhodeisland #santabarbara #wisconsin #minnesota #michigan #california #naperville #florida #mooneenmourad #wwwmooneenmouradcom #mooneen #bonitaspringsflorida #offthewheelpotter

"Edna Flannery graduate of Galion High School 1904" || At the time this portrait was taken, Edna's life was already halfway over—though of course she didn't know it. She was born in Galion, Ohio to Thomas Flannery and Lee Ann Ayers in February of 1886, one of their six children (out of eleven total) who survived to adulthood. Her father, a prominent local citizen, ran a successful "flour and feed" store at the time of her birth, and by all accounts the family led a comfortable life. In November of 1917 Edna married Joseph Rues of Delaware, Ohio, and gave birth to their first child, Lee Ann, in 1920. Their second child, Joseph, was born on July 8, 1921, but tragically only nine days later on July 17, Edna died. The cause of death is listed as "hemorrhage following childbirth." She was thirty-five years old. This is a cabinet card I've owned for years (actually one of the first I purchased), but I've never researched young Miss Flannery—gone ninety-nine years this summer—until now. I wonder what dreams she had for herself...Cabinet card taken in the studio of C. Burr Marsh in Galion, Ohio. Purchased in Salem, Virginia.
