#backyardbeauty #nature #japantravel #traveljapan

The next morning after we had our breakfast 🍳 we head to the subway 🚇 station. The next city we were visiting was Nara. At the station we bought some goodies for the way. I tried a white bread 🥪 with cream and 🍓 . It was delicious. Nara is famous for their tamed deers 🦌roaming the city freely and their beautiful Japanese gardens that serve and have traditional Japanese tea🍵ceremonies. We reach our destination and walk to the Nara Park, which was were the deers 🦌were mostly located. At the park we bought crackers from vendors to feed the deers🦌. The deers 🦌were very accustomed to and relaxed around all the visitors that were there to see them. They looked a little different from all the deers I had seen before. They had longer hair and looked a little shaggy but friendly and loved to be around people if they expecting to be fed. I get close to one of them and it adorably starts bowing its head and gesturing hello then comes forward for its reward. I fed it and then, three other deers 🦌🦌🦌showed up. It was nice and exciting to be around all of them. We walked around drinking up the sun ☀️ and looking at all the cherry blossoms 🌸 and deers 🦌in the park. As we were walking out of the park we noticed one deers crossing the street on the pedestrian crossing. We realized they have been around humans for so long, they even know the traffic laws😊🙃. . . #travelbloggers #travelling #traveladdict #travelguide #traveladdicted #travelling #travellers #travelholic #travelsolo #womantraveler #travelnow #traveljapan #nara #foodphotography #foodaholic #foodpics #foodbloggers #foodlife #foodpictures #travelblog #travelbucketlist #travelbloggerlife #traveltheworld #foodforfoodies #traveltipster

The construction of Osaka Castle (大阪城, Ōsakajō) started in 1583 on the former site of the Ishiyama Honganji Temple, which had been destroyed by Oda Nobunaga thirteen years earlier. Toyotomi Hideyoshi intended the castle to become the center of a new, unified Japan under Toyotomi rule. It was the largest castle at the time. 📍 Osaka 🇯🇵 📸 @w.vv.vv

Day 1 - When I turned to my left and saw a food stand full of Daifuku Mochi I kind of lost it. You know. Internally. You might not know it yet but I loooove sweets. And I love Mochi. And strawberries! The stand did offer them in such a broad variety it took me some minutes to decide which ones to get. I got 3. One to eat now, 2 to eat later. In case I'd get hungry at the hotel. The 3rd one wasn't a Daifuku Mochi but instead a piece of steamed green tea cake. Never seen that before so that was part of why it had to leave with me right away. . By the way. Buying stuff hasn't been a problem at all language wise. Just smiling, pointing at the desired object and holding up the equivalent amount of fingers followed by a "onegai shimasu" (which means "please") worked perfectly fine. I struggled a little bit with the coins though. Now before I started my journey a friend of mine gifted me some japanese Yen coins (it's a good idea to enter any country with a little bit of cash to say get some water or snack right after the landing, even if you intend to visit an exchange counter at the airport). I made it a point to practice recognising them as part of my preparation and it was actually super useful since it did not take me ages to figure out how much money to hand over. It still took a bit though to get used to it for real. . Anyways, the nice lady who sold those delicious sweets to me saw how much garbage I carried around and she offered to throw it away for me. How thoughtful, right? I thanked her a ton for that and was even happier about the decision to stop and get some strawberry daifuku. . The daifuku was amazing of course. I walked to the left side of the food stand (don't walk while you eat or drink!) and took some heavenly bites. The mochi (basically rice that's been smashed down into a super silky dough) was smooth and slightly sweet. The classic  anko (red bean paste) inside tasted fresh and the strawberry on top was ooh so sweet. Just delicious and well worth the price. It must have been around 1.50 €. . Do you remember your first time eating Daifuku? Was it as amazing? . #brinagoesjapan #大福 #strawberry #mochi #daifuku #ichigo #苺 #いちご大福 #mochi #もちもち

Hopes & Dreams! 🍀 . . . . . A couple of simple dreams are written on Ema by the Tōdai-ji Temple near Nara Deer Park. Ema are Japanese traditional wooden plaques used in the Shinto & Buddhits temples for wishes, and requests. The ema are left hanging up at the shrine where the kami (spirit or Gods) are believed to receive them. • #Travel #Travelholic #TravelMore #Japan #2018 #EndlessDiscovery #EndlessLove #JapanPhoto #ILoveJapan #DiscoverJapan #JapanLife #TravelJapan #Nikon #NikonPhotography #Nikon_Photography #Nikon_Photography_ #NikonTop #TeamNikon #NikonD3300 #IG_Japan #IGersJP #Team_JP_ #Japan_of_Insta #InstagramJapan #PeopleCreatives #TheImaged #RAMGoesToJapan

Yesterday was Wolrd Photography Day & while it’s pretty obvious that I’m not sucha good/constant photographer, photography has been quite an essential thing for me during any of my travels...to an annoying extend to the people I’m traveling with. 😅😂 For me photography while traveling is my way of absorbing as well as documenting culture, places, and people. This photo was taken in one of my stays in Nara, Japan & I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to wake up to this scene in the morning for two days in a row. •
