Fountains Of Wayne - S/T I’m very sad to hear about the passing of @adam_schlesinger His music has been apart of my life for such a long time now. I’m sad for his family and their loss.

Discogs Pick 431: A Fine Day To Exit [2001] Anathema ⁣ ⁣ The biggest band to ever come out of Liverpool. I mean, no one else comes to mind. Can you think of anyone? ⁣ ⁣ Recommended listening: Underworld⁣ ⁣ “Seeing is believing but I don't want to know / Walk on through the wasteland I just can't let go / Face down I just break down when I see you cry / All the time / Hold on / Please / Hold on / To me / Tempt fate / Release / Escape”

Queen • Jazz (1978) The 7th studio from @officialqueenmusic and again, one of my favorites. The whole bicycle race theme to the album cover, the song, the inner poster - as a lifelong cyclist that alone should make this my favorite Queen record!! Jazz charter at No.6 on the US Billboard 200 and has sold 5 million copies worldwide. #freddiemercury #brianmay #rogertaylor #johndeacon #vinylcollectionpost #vinylcollection #vinylcollector #vinyladdict #vinyljunkie #vinylrecords #vinylcommunity #nowspinningonvinyl #vinylporn #recordcollection #instavinyl #vinyllover #vinyligclub #vinylgram

This is a revolution! Tracy Chapman is the self-titled debut album by singer-songwriter Tracy Chapman, released on April 5, 1988, by Elektra Records. The album was recorded at the Powertrax studio in Hollywood, California. In 1987, Chapman was discovered by fellow Tufts University student Brian Koppelman. Tracy Chapman gained critical acclaim from a wide majority of music critics, praising the simplicity, Chapman's vocal ability and her political and social lyrical content. Took me a while to get a copy of this album, for one getting a copy in excellent condition is difficult, two, getting it for a good price is another. Luckily, I got this copy in EX condition from my friendly neighborhood record store @treskulrecords last December. #vinyl #vinyladdict #vinylcollection #vinyljunkie #vinylphilippines #vintage #vinylrecords #vinylcollector #vinylcommunity #tracychapman

Quarantine Day 14, I think... and I’m starting to really miss browsing the record stores!

At least one of the cats joins me each day in the office and curls up next to my records. So I’m going to use that as an excuse to give y’all a peek at what I’m listening to while sheltering at home ... Current obsession is We’re New Again, a complete reworking of Gil Scott-Heron’s final album by jazz drummer Makaya McCraven. I’ve got several Gil Scott-Heron albums, but, for some reason, I’ve never really considered myself a fan. So I slept on this release when it appeared earlier this year. That changed as soon as I heard “I’m New Here.” I bought the album based on that song alone. No surprise, Scott-Heron’s smoothly graveled voice gives “I’m New Here” depth and soul. But the instrumentation! That gives the song life! Put the backing track on a loop, and I could listen to it all damn day. Song of the year? Yeah, I’m already willing to commit. #mallorysheadphones #gilscottheron #makayamccraven #werenewagain #imnewhere #vinyl #instavinyl #vinylcollection #vinylcollector #vinylrecord #vinylrecords #vinylcommunity #recordcollection #nowspinning #lp #vinylclub #vinylgram

VINYL PLAYLIST - 4/1 So far, so good. All double-LPs now that I have double the time to kill, and then some. It’s becoming more of a doozy as more time passes by, but I’m sure that this whole episode will come to an end sooner than later hopefully. • Yoko Ono’s Fly. A nightmarish mountain of music, sounds, and sonic landscapes that sits somewhere between avant-funk, drone, hard rock, and even proto-punk. And yes, it’s surprisingly good. • M83’s Junk. An electronic throwback to the European Discotheque scene of the late 70’s and early 80’s complete with rosy-tinted glasses of nostalgia. • Elton John’s Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Hit after hit, Elton provides all the quirkinesses, energy, passion, rawness, and elegance that makes his music so great and catchy in mass amounts. • Pink Floyd’s Ummagumma. Half live recordings that display the band at their most cosmic, half musique-concrete journey into studio experimentation by each member. A unique and very different album from a special time in the band’s career. • Gorillaz’s Demon Days. Doom and dread in a post-9/11 America delivered with classic bops and poignant songs concerning the social paranoia and uncertainty in the air. •

Touch, como o próprio nome da música sugere, fala sobre toque. Contato, a importância do calor humano.
