Mombasa was in the mood to take a stroll a couple days ago, so I grabbed some shots while she was at it! When she went back in, she also looked like she could use a feed, so she took a superworm as a reward for not acting up! #orangebaboontarantula #pterinochilusmurinus #pterinochilus #murinus #tarantulaphotography #tarantulavideography #arachnidphotography #arachnidvideography #arachnidsofinstagram #tarantulasofinstagram #arachnids #arachnotube #invertebrates #animals #wildlife #creatures #critters #naturephotography #wildlifephotography #eightlegs #donotfear #respect

A cheetah has an exceptionally long and muscular tail with a white tuft at the end and measures around 60 - 80 cms ( 24 - 31 inches). The flattened tip acts like a rudder to help steer and turn during hig speed chases! Rodents need love too and I love watching these guys! #muskrat #pondlife #wildlifephotography #rodentsofinstagram #montana

Taken on Febuary 29, 2020. For lunch/dinner Mya and Melati got a turkey leg each. They'd already had their main meal for the day, so when we gave them this, we had a little time to watch them eat. Melati seems very happy with her snack, frothing at the mouth and everything. P.s. I was working with Siobhan that day and had asked to bring my camera around with us, she said yes but I was an idiot and didn't bring it down from the buggy to the tigers. Since we had time anyway I asked to quickly run and grab it, but only realised after that Siobhan was filming Lati eat. So Siobhan if you see this, my bad. Sorry if I ruined your video by talking over the bone crunching. And thank you for letting me grab my camera still. #Photography #NotAThousandWords #Tiger

Taken on February 29, 2020. And now . . . Mya and Melati! I'm very lucky to get to work with these two personally. They're just incredible. Melati is the beautiful girl in the back, keeping an eye on me. Mya is gorgeous girl in the front, happily snoozing away the day. #Photography #NotAThousandWords #Tigers

Taken on February 29, 2020. Again, just look at his huge striped head! #Photography #NotAThousandWords #Tiger

Taken on February 29, 2020. On the same day, in the same few minutes as the last post, I captured Baru's open mouth. Just looking at his teeth it's not hard to imagine him crushing bones in a single bite. #Photography #NotAThousandWords #Tiger

Taken on February 29, 2020. Baru! This very handsome boy was pacing one corner of his enclosure for almost half an hour. Since he was close to the mesh, it was hard for me to get solid pictures. Thankfully, at one end of his lap he had to turn around and face me, that's where I managed to get this shot. #Photography #NotAThousandWords #Tiger

Taken on July 5, 2019. No special story, just a very pretty zebra. #Photography #NotAThousandWords #Zebra

Taken on July 5, 2019. Baby Nzuri trying to hide from all her paparazzi. She's gotten so big now. #Photography #NotAThousandWords #BabyGiraffe

Taken on January 18, 2020. Last post for now. A turtle sunbathing on a rock. What else could you possibly need to know? #Photography #NotAThousandWords #Turtle

Taken on February 22, 2020. Just before I took the photo in the last post, I did manage to get this shot in. Leopards have spots on their ears that act as eyes to deter other predators from attacking their turned back. The fake eyes trick animals into thinking the leopard is facing them and probably won't attack. #Photography #NotAThousandWords #Leopard

Taken on February 22, 2020. At the end of a long day (for my lazy butt, anyway) Ankesh was out in his enclosure. He, as usual, wasn't happy to see me. I sat not far from where he was lounging and got ready to take photos of his handsome face, which is when he said, "get stuffed," and started to move away. I shrugged and took a photo of his gorgeous coat instead. #Photography #NotAThousandWords #Leopard

Taken on February 22, 2020. After chucking Otay an iceblock to keep her cool, she looked back at me and I got a shot of her cute rolly-polly face. She's either gotten used to my voice calling for her, - which would make me very happy - or she's just used to her name being called (probably more likely). Or maybe she thinks yelling means food. She never came to my voice when I just started volunteering, but she does now. I really hope she's grown used to my voice. #Photography #NotAThousandWords #Sunbear
